Apex Legends Adds New Reconnect Feature That Has Fortnite Fans Looking Enviously
Apex Legends has just started its fifth season while introducing new features and mechanics which all aim to expand the game a little without necessarily harming testing skills or expanding the scope of the gameplay. One feature, in particular, makes other Battle Royale fans eagerly watch the title of the developers at Respawn Entertainment.
Everything is actually quite simple, although the devil is in the details. Starting in Season 5, a new “reconnect” feature will allow players to reconnect to their games if they suddenly lose connection for some reason.
Whether you crash or alt + F4, as long as your character is still alive, you can join the game. Apex Legends Adds New Reconnect Feature That Has Fortnite Fans Looking Enviously
It should be noted that your character will persist in the game, regardless of your connection status, so if you are thinking of facing a disadvantageous conflict, you could find yourself dead.
Your character will continue to exist where it was when the player left, apparently standing there AFK. A small icon next to the player will identify the teammates that the player has disconnected.
As long as you try to join the team while your team is still alive, you can easily jump back into the murder chaos of Apex Legends. If too much time has passed, however, the game will mark it as a game abandonment and a loss.
